Tony, I totally enjoyed your article, which your's and Wynette reminded me
of a "Wagon Train" story I read once. This family was headed this way out
of Virginia
as a diary was kept by one of the young girls. She picked up the canvas on
the side
of the wagon and could see
more people she had ever seen before as they were traveling through Richmond
Virginia. I think she said something about the multitudes of lights, which
made the think they were about to make camp. B'nard.

: george brought up something that can be incorporated into our finding
: pioneer connections... perhaps we can each name our pioneer families and
: where they came from. now we can compare other families origins to that.
: perhaps at that time those unnamed and first name females can possibly
: connect within the families.. ie, marriages. one of my families came from
: johnston co. nc. the lees.. now two sets came from there. john lee, esq.
: and the hugh lee line.. both came to butler. hugh's descendants slightly
: before john's. we know fails came from there as well as a few more
: families. we pool that info and see where these families settled in
butler..
: if nearby each other, that promotes a possibility of connecting an
unknown.
: greenberry lee's people came later and they are out of sc, if i'm correct.
: all 3 lees married into each other's line but there are several of my
people
: where all i have is name and nothing else. there were fails, altmans and
: allens and ingrams that married several lee men/women. do any have first
: names only of women, etc, etc,...
: i probably am confusing in trying to explain but using the 'home' county
: base where families travelled from certainly is necessary to solving.
: btw, i hope someone is saving every one of these email suggestions so it
can
: be referred to for use when and if this gets going.
: re's,
