Hi List,
I am still trying to find my g.g.grandmother, Fannie Mae (VICKERY) SIRMON,before she married my g.g.grandfather, William F. SIRMON, 3/1/1885, Butler Co. I have not been able to find her family in the census and do not know who her parents were.
I am also trying to find a record of the marriage of Fannie's daughter, Zellie Mae (SIRMON) FUNDERBURK, 5/17/1908, Butler Co. to Willard Ira FUNDERBURK. I have not been able to find them in the 1910 census. Zellie was my g.grandmother.My grandmother, Frances (Fannie) FUNDERBURK was her first child,b. 8/18/1909 in Butler Co. I did find a transcript of the 1910 census in my grandmother's papers this morning that she used in lou of a birth cert. showing "Fannie M. FUNDERBURT" daughter, 8/12 mos. old, b. AL. It said the record was "enumerated in the family of Willard and Zellie FUNDERBURT" I so far haven't found this record myself.
My main "brick wall" is Fannie Mae (VICKERY) SIRMON. Any help with her family before she married would greatly appreciated. She was b. Nov. 1865,place ?, died Feb 19, 1940, place ?
