IN REMEMBRANCE OF OUR LOVING MOTHER, MRS. EPSIE SIMS
Our darling mother left us Jan. 2, 1937.
[omitted next three paragraphs without any family information]
Mother was sick two weeks before her death. She leaves to mourn her going a husband and eight children:
Griel, Marvin, Minnie Lethie, Lois, Ruby Mae, James Albert, Bama Joy, and Little Carlton Faye, only fourteen months old; two sisters, Mrs. Bama BOOTHS and Mrs. Minnie HENDERSON, and one brother, Mr. James DANBY, all of Sanford, Alabama.
We loved you mother, but God loved you best.
Mother was laid to rest at the Morrow School House on Monday afternoon, January 4.
-----Written by her daughter Minnie Lethie SIMS

Epsie is buried beside John S. SIMS (1888-1969) at Morrow Cemetery. Her name is given as Epsie Dannelly SIMS. Her brother's surname in the obit is given as DANBY. Was her middle name DANNELLY?
Bryan, please explain how John L. SIMS fits into the SIMS family. Thanks.
Cheryll
