Today is the day to be grateful for many things. One of those is all of you
who have helped me identify family members long gone on to their rewards.
I would like to invite two particular ones to bring whomever is living in
their households to our table. They are the Reverend Ezra Miller, from
Greenville, and the Reverend Jeremiah Rhame, pastor of Catfish Creek Baptist Church, in
Clarendon, County, South Carolina.
I particularly would like to ask Jeremiah Rhame where he is buried, and what
happened to the church. Did he disolve it, or merge with another
congregation. I would ask both of them if they know of any native american blood in their
family line.
I want to know from Ezra Miller where his family lived in South Carolina, and
what it was like when he had the hospital open in Greenville. I want to know
if his wife, Celia Wright was kin to Orvile and Wilbur Wright, and if they
also lived in South Carolina.
I also wish I could invite some of you to come and sit down with me to eat.
Particularly my cousins that I have met and enjoyed talking with via the
internet. Perhaps some day I will get back to Greenville for a few hours and we can
sit down and eat and have a wonderful time. Blessings on all of you today.
Esther Miller Ellison
