Howdy Again,

I have located, via another person on this list, and on a CD I have of
Land Records, (It is from Family Tree Maker) Some pertinent information
about my 3 gr grandfather and 2 gr grandfather.

How would I go about getting a copy of the original of this land patent?
I would imagine that the actual original records WHO the land was sold
to, right? Are there any of those land records in Butler County? IF so,
is there anyone who goes to that office regularly who could obtain
copies for me??? I could email to you what I have, which contains the
document number. Possibly anyone else included in the transaction would
also have a # referring to that one?????

I was hoping that someone on this list might be able to tell me because
I live in Idaho and getting out there to do my own research isn't going
to happen for a long time, I'm afraid!
