I am descended from Clarkey Davis' brother, Dempsey Davis (Jr.) and Jane Grant. Dempsey Davis married second, Mary A.E. Grant. You Joseph, Mary A.E., and Jane Grant were siblings, the children of William Grant and Catherine Farris.

I have a penciled note beside Clarkey's name that she and Joseph Grant are buried at Letohatchee Cemetery in Lowndes Co., AL.
