Abraham PIVY is on the list of voters in the first election in Butler Co. held the first Monday in August of 1820 (list compiled from "Alabama Historical Society Quarterly") on page 22 of the book Butler County in the Nineteenth Century compiled by Marilyn Davis Hahn, 1978.
He came to Butler Co. from Hancock Co., Ga., as far as I can tell from Lydia's pension papers [See posts on this board]. Try this link if it works:
