MATTHEWS, Richard Franklin, Sr., 57, a resident of Fosteria, passed away October 27, 2005 at L.V. Stabler Hospital. Graveside services will be held Saturday, October 29, 2005 at 10:00 am at Braggs Cemetery with Rev. Butch Earnest officiating. Family will receive friends Friday, October 28, 2005 from 6:00-8:00 pm. DunklinHerndon Funeral Home Directing. Mr. Matthews was survived by wife, Martha Matthews of Fosteria, AL; daughter, Angie Burkhalter from Montgomery, AL; son, Richard (Angie) Matthews of Montgomery, AL; grandchildren, Clayton E. Royal, Trent W. Royal, Bradley D. Burkhalter, Emma K. Matthews, Allison G. Matthews, Richard F. Matthews, III; sisters, Earline (Ray) Wills of Preston, GA, Christine (Gene) Moye of Young Harris, GA; nieces and nephews; and stepson, James E. Green of Fosteria, AL. Pallbearers include Joe Jr Crook, Jimmy Crook, Johnny Crook, Rusty Hussey, Henry Lynn, and Melvin Blackmon. Honorary pallbearers include Greenville Police Department, Butler County!
