Many thanks, Candace. Intriging! My Rufus' father was a John LOVE, and he
had a brother Joel! And of course every family had an Elizabeth. But I can
account for them. Father John died in 1832 in Monmouth Co NJ. I would bet
however, that this Rufus is the one with the land grants, since they were
also Rufus K. and NOT my Rufus. It was a real long shot anyhow, and you
were able to bring this particular lead to a close. Sometimes that is
almost as good as finding something!
