I am looking for info re a Mary Ann Estes that was
married to Benjamin Franklin Fielder. They married-7-Oct-1855-
in Tennessee. They moved as a young married couple with
their first baby in a prairie schooner pulled by a span of horses
from Maury Co, Tenn and ended up in a little village of log cabins,
on Nov-17, 1853. That was the town of Springfield, Greene Co,
Mo. Benjamin's brother T.F.Fielder and his wife and baby, accompanied them. Both couples married less then two years
were searching for a new home. Benjamin whom was born-7-Feb-1825- in either Maury or Hickman Co, Tenn. Died 4-Dec-1914- Springfield, Greene Co Mo. He was known as the oldest
Mason in Missouri and was also known as "Uncle Ben" to
hundreds of people in the county. He was also one of the
pioneers of Greene County '. After his wife Mary Ann Estes died
he then later marrried Mary Susan Barnes. They also had four
children. Benjamin was very instrumental in carpentry and
farming '. He was nearly ninty years of age at the time of his
death .
Mary Ann (Estes) Fielder died -April- 1863- Springfield,
Greene Co, Mo. They had four children. Their youngest child
Andrew John Fielder was my g-grandfather, whom married
Ida M. Stiff-2-Aug-1888-in Galloway, Mo.
Would like to hear from family or anyone that has any
information to share '.
"Thank you".
