MONCRIEF, Louisab: 1822d: 1914 that married
DENNIS, Samuel Jamesb: 1820d: 1892
would be a sister to Samantha b: 1825 and Eliza b: 1836
but who are the other obliviously missing 5 or 10 siblings?

Well, Bruce, now it looks like there are several possibilities for
Samantha MONCRIEF's sister in Autauga Co, AL: E. E., Eliza, Exey (whose
middle name was supposedly Emma), and Echoche. Can anyone else shed any
light on any of the women mentioned below?

If anyone has an Exey MONCRIEF GRAY in their database, I'm wondering if
she could be the same as Echoche MONCRIEF. Exey was 23 in 1860, and
Echoche was 14 when the 1850 census was taken in the month of Nov. Any
ideas on how these two names might be pronounced similarly? Anyway, Exey
should be in Autauga in 1850, and she's not listed; and Echoche should
be in the 1860 census, but she's not listed. Thanks for any input.
