Hello, me again...and I guess I should shut up since I don't know where
this is...but the post about Cane Creek...I have lots of family there
(or used to be there)...there is a big Cane Creek Cemetery...also
Several communities are down the old Lay Dam highway (before the new 145
(Charlie B Cox highway)was built. My Mother was born on down in what
they called Stumps Hill back in 1900. I have folks buried at Lime
Springs Church Cemetery. This was called Tthe Gap of the Mountain" all
my life, right there where the turn to Cane Creek is now.If anyone can
go there...to Lessie's resturant and ask...a lady lives there who is 100
years old...Aunt Sally She would know.
