OSMOND CARL MARTIN
Osmond Carl Martin, 78, of Clanton died Wednesday, January 5 at
Chilton Medical Center. He was born Thursday, September 9, 1925 in Chilton
County and is the son of the late Clarence Martin and the late Zora Paschal.
He worked as a sheet metal worker.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Essie Pearl Martin of Clanton;
two sons, Mr. Wendel Martin of Clanton, Mr. Chris Martin of Clanton;
brother, Mr. Raymond Martin of Chattanooga, TN; three sisters, Mrs. Dorothy
Hustead of Charleston, WV, Mrs. Doris Connell of Clanton, Mrs. Dean Lewis
of Dadeville; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at Graveside, Saturday, January 8 at 11 a.m.
with Rev. Mark Bolton officiating. Interment will follow in the Martin
Memorial. Friends will be received today from 5-8 p.m. at Martin Funeral
Home Chapel.
