I would like to get in touch with someone who knows the exact location of, or has seen, this cemetery. Evidently it was a small private family cemetery on a piece of property patented to, and owned by, Andrew Cavaness in the 1830's and originally in Shelby county. It is said to be four or five miles Northeast of Jemison off Hwy. 51.
Jonathan Clower, the father of my Great Great Grandmother (Elizabeth Clower) is supposed to have been buried there.
I am sure it would be on private farm land now, and if possible, I would like to get someone in the Jemison area to take a few photos of it.
My appreciation to anyone who could give me assistance with this query.
Grady
