Glenn,
Ben's wife Joyce has passed some information to us at the Coosa County Historical Society. This information is in our Record and Resource room next to the court house. There was a lot of information that Ben had in his head and not on paper, that is now lost. I have been working on Ben Carlton's connection with the Smith line and can only find a limted amount of information in his files.

I am hoping that Ben's work is safely lodged with the Historical Society.
However, since Ben's demise I have been unable to verify this. If anyone
knows where his work is, please post the information.
