We too have an ancestor from Dunfanaghy, Elizabeth Alcorn, wife of John Wilson Warnock (1801-1878). She died in Dunfanaghy in 1845 and John and the entire family emigrated to Philadelphia in 1846. Several trips to Donegal failed to turn up a local Alcorn connection. They were members of Dunfanaghy Presbyterian Church.

Can you help us identify this Donegal family.
