I am new to this list and sure could use some help. My brick wall is the
parents of William Dean Treadaway/Treadway b.1885 in Cullman d. 1909 in
Lauderdale CO.
He married Sarah Ann Gibson at Jones Chapel, Nov.13,1904. The witness
is
a O.H.Parris and he states that William is over the age of 20, makes a
living
and has lived with him for 12 months and it is agreeable with his father for

him to marry Miss Sarah Gibson.
Does this mean it was agreeable with Mr. Parris' father? or William
Treadaway's father? My mother spelled her maiden name Treadway, but on this
marriage certificate, they have added an "a" between the "d" and "w".
After William and Sarah married they moved to Lauderdale CO with her
parents,James and Nancy Harris Gibson. The only birth record they could come

up with for my mother was a census saying that she lived in the house with
her grandparents, James Gipson, which should have been Gibson. William died
at a young age.I have not been able to find anything out about William's
family. Any help at all will be so appreciated.
