The obituary of Mrs. Martha A. Huey (died age 84 on 5 May 1923) shows her
survivors as: sons John R. Huey of Cullman, C.(Charlie) T. Huey of Carrollton
GA.;
daughters Misses Sallie and Maude Huey of Cullman and MRS. W.B. OAKS (Mattie)
of Cullman. W. BAXTER OAKS, I believe, is the husband's name. Both Mattie
and Baxter are, apparently, buried in Simcoe Cemetery in Cullman Co.

I can share HUEY data and would like to learn more about the OAKS family.
Mattie Huey Oaks was the sister-in-law of my 2g-gm, Martha Huey Bankston of
Harris Co. GA/Itawamba Co. MS. Thanks, Adrienne
