Subject: PHILLIPS-STOKES - Elamville Church "Deed"

Hello Dale/Barbour County Researchers,
Saturday I received a call for help!!!
Mr.Charles Brock of Ariton is working on the Heritage
History Book. He is trying to prove that Arrington H.H.Phillips - son
of Isham & Mary Phillips, was the original donator of the land for
the Elamville Church.
He was told that Shelly STOKES held that original land title that showed that
Arrington H.H. Phillips gave the land..........but
Mr.Stokes died and no one knows what happened to this deed of proof
that he owned. We are needing a copy of the deed so we can give
Arrington due credit in the History book. The deadline
for this information to make the book is May 15th. We need your
