Jeannette, thank you so much for the information! It's interesting to compare it
with the 1860 Walton Co. FL census for the same family. So Rachel was born in
GA... hmmm. Maybe searching for marriage records there will help me discover her
maiden name. The Walton census lists her as being from SC, but errors do happen.
Also, the FL census doesn't include Emily, but it's likely that she already
married. One other child was also born in 1852. This has been a wonderful help,
