the 15th. alabama infantry was made up of 11 different companys that
represented ,barbarour, dale, henry, macon, pike, russell counties
. the regt. was organized at moblie alabama in aug 1861. i know that company
c of the 15th was from macon county al. because one of my gt-uncles served
in company c. also on the geneva county, al. web page there is a great write
up concerning this regt. also geneva counties roster is on there also.
