Hi Homer, How does this family fit into the WOODHAM line. I have neither a
John WOODHAM nor a Edward C. WOODHAM in my file. with the exception of John
Wesley WOODHAM previously noted. Any information on how these two fit into
the WOODHAM family would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for that you do,
Lawrence Dillard.

Sammy,
The John Woodham you speak of enlisted
as a substitute for his father Edward C.
Woodham at age 18; as soon as he rec
word that his father was safely behind
Union lines, most likely in Fla, deserted;
they were both listed as being from Dale
County but served in Co G of the 15th,
a Henry County company; two other
Woodham's from Dale also in Co G:
John A., captured at the Wilderness, Va
in May 1864 and d. as a POW.
Uriah, wounded/disabled at Chickamauga
in Sep 1863; resided at Newton following
the war.
Deo Vindice,
Homer T.
