I need some help, please. Do you have a list of the descendants of Mattie Viola Stephens and William M. Sowell. I am working on Mathison genealogy.

Ann Jane Creel was the daughter of William W. "Billy" Creel (b. ca 1815 in S.C.) and his first wife, Sarah Sykes (b. ca 1816). Her first marriage was to William M. Sowell, and they had a son, William M. Sowell, Jr.

On 17 Dec 1905, William M. Sowell, Jr. married Mattie Viola Stephens, born 1881 in Dale County, daughter of Samuel Eason Stephens and Suzanah Fountain. They reared their family in De Funiak Springs, Florida. The children of Will Sowell and Mattie Stephens included Bessie Sowell, Ola Mae Sowell who married Johnny Herring, and Annie Sue Sowell (Source: Mrs. Wilma Mathison Brown, Ozark).
