John and Louvina Ard are my direct line. I have been reading the e-mails on
Ashley C. Ard and I cannot find anything in that will support that he is a
child of John and Louvina. They did not live in Louisiana. They went as far
as Dale County ,AL and stayed there. They had a lot of children (about 17)
but Ashley was not one of them.
There was another member of the Ard clan from South Carolina that went to
Louisiana and I believe ended up in Texas. You may want to start looking in
Texas and work backwards.
