Claudia--This will be kinda short as we are getting ready for a trip-
had planned to fly to Tampa next week, but Lucille's sis. in Albq.,
N. Mex. is in serious condition(cancer)- we will leave here earlty
Fri. and go there- if things are settled down next week, we will fly
on to Fla.Will not be back home til after the first of May.There is a
lot on the Garners( no Sarah J.)- will work on it when we get back
from the trip(Garners)- I do not know whether you are aware of
Lydia's book ??She started out on a search of the Hughes family and
the further she went the area just scattered all over Dale Co.Most
all the early settlers are' connected'- pge. 22- Thomas Carrol, born
approx. 1828-married Sarah J.(maiden name unknown), born approx.
1834. , married 1851--as of 1860, they had:
Caswell,(1853)Robertus(1881)Effiem Missouri,1884,William
Harless,1888,Ellefare,1891,James Edward,1893,ThomasPreston,1897. Page
219-Ervin Snell(1866) married Sarah Jane Caroll(1875)- married 1892-
They had 8 kids, all Snells.I have their names.Do not know whether
this is the same Sarah J.? Talk to you later- Harold
