The work on the Houston County, Alabama Heritage Book (Vol. 35) has been
finished and will be sent to the consultants next week. We will then
have to wait for a slot for the book to be printed; but, we are getting
excited! The book will be about 380 pages; and, it's going to be a good one!

Just to keep all of you, who pre-ordered your books posted. You will
be notified (if you are picking your book up in Dothan); and, if you are
having your book shipped, it will be shipped directly to you. We hope
these dates are somewhere around late June.

This year (2003) is the Centennial Celebration of Houston County, which was
formed from Henry County in 1903.
