Hi, Anita !
I would be very interested in any ARDs buried in Asbury, when you
have a minute ! Particularly John and Almira ( Martha) ARD . I also have
another question , which perhaps you or other list members can help me with
: where would I find records concerning guardianships from the time of
around 1870s and up ? I am especially interested in guardianships for
John, Clara, and Elizabeth GLENN, whose parents ( Hershel and M.L. Bizzell
Glenn) apparently died in Texas, in the ealy 1870s but Elizabeth and Clara,
at least, were living with their aunt and her husband, Almira Glenn Ard
and John Ard in 1880. Clara had a Mr Jackson as guardian when she married
, ( 1889, I believe) but she was married from the Ards home. To me, this
indicates the possibility that Clara and probably her sister and brother
had been named as heirs somewhere. Perhaps their grandfather, Harrison
Bizzell ? Can anyone help with this puzzle ? Does Dale County have
these kind of records ? ANY HELP very much appreciated !!!!!
