Yes I have heard that they were Swiss, then someone in my family said that
they might have been Dutch. My dad will be 80 years old in September and I
will check with him. He only knows that his GGGrandmother was Betsy Ann Ard
and that they said she was an Indian Princess. She died during the Civil
War of Small Pox and is burried in Union Springs, Alabama.
