Minonia, my father's notes indicate that he had tried to find some
connection between Jenny Payne and Absolum but he was never able to find anything.

A few cousins and I are trying to research the Childers line but we haven't
been able to get beyond John Jefferson Childers. However, we found out
yesterday that he had two brothers who died in the Civil War, Joseph and Thomas.
Perhaps that will help in our search.

I will appreciate any help you can provide. Do you know offhand what
newspapers the Ozark Library has on microfilm?
