Hi. This is a long shot, but I thought I'd mention it. There was a law
partner of my ancestor - George P. Blevins - in Selma during the time frame
you mention, and his name was Murphy. However, the information I have is
that the name was spelled without the "e". Does this ring a bell in any
way?
