Hi Emily, I haven't conversed with you in a long time, my ancestors lived on the Minter plantation in Tyler and I was recently wondering if anyone in the Minter family has any records of the black families that lived on the Minter plantation? I know this is a long shot but I have recently acquired the slave records of other plantations that my family members resided on both in Lowndes and Dallas Counties and was wondering about Minter slave records or sharecropper records and if anyone in the Minter family might have some of these records in their posession and would be willing to share them with me.
