Does anyone have any information on the Wilson's in Selma, AL? David Wilson immigrated from Ireland around 1844 and settled in Dallas County. He had a son James who worked at the Railroad. James also had a son, James Jr. that worked at the Railroad too. This is according to census data. What railroad are they talking about?
Timeline:
David Wilson b abt 1822
James Wilson Sr. b abt 1842
James Wilson Jr. b. abt 1873
Sorry if I'm oblivious to Alabama and railroads, but I'm from Texas and I should mention this is my husbands' line.
Thanks for any info.
Shantelle
