Surname: SMITH, BLYTHE, MERRILL

I'm looking for information on a Capt. William SMITH b. ca. Bet.1815 md.
to Phoebe BLYTHE b. ca.1816 . I'm trying to find out if this William is
the same William SMITH B.CA. 1810-1825 , SON/O Cornelius SMITH b. 1793
, Rowan Co., NC & Jean N. MERRILL . He would also be the grandson of Jonathan
& Nancy ( Elliot ) MERRILL , and the g-grandson of Capt. Benjamin MERRILL
& Jemima SMITH . Cornelius & Jean ( MERRILL) SMITH had ten children ; William
, John and Nancy are the only ones left that we can't account for. If this
is same William SMITH , his sister CHARLOTTE married Howell BLYTHE ,the
brother to Phoebe BLYTHE .The children of Capt William SMITH & Phoebe BLYTHE
are : Nancy , Phebe Jane , Elizabeth , Thomas C. , John , Margaret Ann
, Mary , Albert B. , William , Sarah , , Lucy , Caroline . If anyone has
proof or can help with any information on this family , it would be much
appreciated . Would be happy to share.
