Surname: DUBOIS, ELMORE, WILLIAMS

Josiah Williams & Judith Elmore; marr May 1785 Amelia cty., VA, lived Laurens
cty., South Carolina abt 1802-1817; moved 1817 to the part of AL that is
now Elmore cty.
I'm especially looking for descendants of their sons Josiah H., b. abt
1790 and still living in Tallapoosa cty. 1860; and Daniel b. abt 1793 who
*may* have marr Lavisa Brazil, Montgmery cty. 1819, and definitely had
at least once child by 1840, Thomas P. Williams.
Their other children who resided in AL were Warner Williams (d. Smith cty.,
TX 1859), Thomas Jefferson Williams (d.DeSoto Par., LA 187?), Louisa (Williams)
DuBois (d. Green cty, AL 1879), Ann "Nancy" (Williams) Houck, Martha (Williams)
Philips.
(Two other chn., John Elmore Williams and Elizabeth [Williams] Wilkinson
remained in South Carolina - their descendants are not known to have settled
in AL.)
