hope someone out there can help!!! I've been searching for my great
grandparents for some time now and just recently got a little more info! My
great-grandparents were MINNIE LEE and GEORGE WASHINGTON MITCHELL; George is
thought to have been from Georgia (Decatur area - no proof at this time).

Minnie Lee was the daughter of JOE HENDRICK of Elmore County, she was born
on March 14, 1879 - location unknown. Minnie was married to an unknown
CROCKETT and had the following (known) children: Walter and Howard Crockett.
She later married George Washington Mitchell and had James, George, Evie &
Myrtle Mitchell (Evie is my grandmother born in 1905). There is some
confusion over the place of birth, I believe some may have been born in
Georgia and others in Alabama.

It is known that Minnie Lee and George W. Mitchell moved to Jefferson County
when my grandmother was still a young child. Minnie Lee died on Oct. 15,
1947 and is buried in Forrest Hills cemetery in Jefferson County, Alabama.
NO information is listed on Minnie's mother. Does anyone have any
information as to who her mother could have been and whether she had any
siblings? What about her father, Joe Hendrick (s?), this is all I know on
him and would like to know more.

ANY information/help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance.
