I have been to the Gadsden Library (Etowah County) & could not find the obit I'm looking for. Some newspaper weeks were missings. I hope someone can help me. I'm looking for an obit for Mary Berthena (Sellers) Minton born January 1835 in North Carolina died October 10, 1920 in Attalla, Etowah County, Alabama. I have her Alabama death certificate #23445. She was buried on the 19th of October 1920. The funeral home that is on the death certificate does not exist anymore. I was told she was buried at Oak Hills Cemetery, Attalla, Etowah County, Alabama but there is no records for this cemetery. The City of Attalla bought it & I talked with them & they do not have any records.
