Dear Genealogical Enthusiast,

The University of Alabama’s Cartographic Research Laboratory is creating an
atlas of Alabama cemeteries. The atlas, entitled the Historical Atlas of Alabama,
Volume II: Cemetery Locations by County, is scheduled to be complete in the
summer of 1999.

We would like to know if you would be interested in reviewing the information
we have collected thus far for your Alabama county or counties of interest.
Obviously local experts on cemeteries are of great importance to the creation of a
complete and accurate book. Please email us at with your
postal mailing address as well as the names of the counties if you would like to review
our research. We would be happy to send you the information.

Please know that this information comes at no obligation, we are simply
interested in confirming the completeness and accuracy of our data.
