Friday, May 10th, 1861.

Nothing transpired today about here everything went well
Mrs. Wright came over Sousanah Martin came over
Continued calls for volunteers

Tuesday, May 14th, 1861.

Aunt Nancy went to Bery Freemans I went to mill

Thursday, May 16th, 1861.

I went to Bainbridge and Murph's commitment trial was held
I saw Capt J. W. Evans sent by him to Bro B $9
Hamp sent 5 dollars Borrowed from mother 4 dollars

Friday, May 17th, 1861.

Bery Freeman went to Bainbridge his hors run away with the
buggy in the yard when he come home Aunt Nancy and Dinah squalled
out at a dredful rate B. Atkisson come here and stayed all
night C. Spooner come from Fla

Monday May 27th, 1861.

I went to Jackson Ingram for corn for the soldiers wives and
got 11 1/4 bushells One bushel for old Mr. Briant

Tuesday, May 28th, 1861.

I and J. B. Donalson went fishing togeather at the Blew
Springs
Bradford Rogges Baby died today WB. B. Freeman went to
mill for the widows of the soldiers
Aunt Nancy got very mad today
Mrs. Lang came over
I am unwell myself Received a letter from Bro John

Thursday, May 30th, 1861.

Received a letter from Bro W. J. from Pensacola
Aunt Nancy and Jacob Stanton went to B, Wrights and dined
Aunt is in a fine humor this evening Ira Sanborn has called
here today Charles worked here for July to cut oats

Sunday, June 2d, 1861.

Bro H. H. Ingram and his Ladie was here
S. P. Richardson preached
I called at W. C. Thomas in the afternoon
Aunt Nancy was in a quarreling way again

Monday, June 3, 1861.

C. J. Munnerlyn got home from Pensacola
Aunt is ill as ever

Tuesday, June 4th, 1861

Munnerlyn came here twice today
I went to mill and the pond was nearly dry
Old man Briant is still on the beg
John P. Golden came to see Aunt Aunt is in quite a pleasant
mood I saw Mattie McLaw and Miss M McLauchlyin Miss T Thomas and
Misses M. J. and E. Shaw Mr. H. D. Thomas W. B. Freeman is
up tonight got a letter from Bilie at Pensacola

Monday June 10th, 1861.

Mr. W. D. Griffin and his wife give a fish cook at Ira
Sanborns Mill a plenty of fish was caught and a considerable
collection of young men and Ladies were in attendance numbering
about 30 all seemed to be in fine spirits and lively

Thursday, June 13th, 1861.

Was proclaimed as fast day by Jef Davis the President of the
Southern Confederacy it was kept by a good many I fasted all
day from one supper to the next

Saturday, June 15th, 1861.

A very pleasant mist of rain fell
L. Sanders worked for M. C. Ingram 17 days at 50cts per day
amount $8.50 The above was done with Mrs. Keen hands

Sunday, June 16th, 1861.

Stanton call to see Miss Tip for the first time
Miss M. J. Gray kissed A Shaw Theodore S _V Sanders, it was
highly valued

Monday, June 17th, 1861.

John P. Golden went mad and disturbed the people in
Fowlstown very much he went to Munnerlyns and then to Aunt
Nancys from thence to Mrs. Thomas there he was tied and taken home
A man came begging for substance
Mrs. OBrian was fetched home she is insane and was runaway

Tuesday, June 18th, 1861.

Aunt is in a very fine humor today We ware favored with a
small shower of rain

Saturday, June 22, 1861.

John Freeman sen and his son William came down from Wilkson
county
I went to Bainbridge to bring John Wright dined at Dr. Thomas

Sunday, June 23rd, 1861.

John Wright and his wife stayed all right
Mrs. M. C. ingram and her daughter was here for dinner
my mother and sister

Monday, June 24th, 1861.

I went to Bainbridge with Wright fell in company with
Mr. J and J. B. _riffin on the way no more happened of consequence.

Tuesday, June 25th, 1861.

Miss A. H. Thomas went to Mr. Dixons in Fla to remain 4 or 5
days

Wednesday, June 26th, 1861.

Mr. Freeman and his son left for home J. F. Stanton went
as far as Bainbridge with them.
Received a letter from Bro John
Got corn from J Ingram
