My two cents worth...
Our Rubin Pershing Culpepper & Jeanette Hand went over into Early co.,
Georgia an also got married as did one of her sisters...I will ask her why?
Maybe age difference...maybe they could get married younger in Georgia, I
believe she was 15 yrs old??? Or without consent...

<< A ton of my Henry ancestors crossed over to Early County Georgia to get
married.......anyone have any idea why? Were the certificates cheaper
or easier to get in Georgia? >>
