Can anyone tell me where I can find a history of the Alice Hotel. There
is a referrence to the Alice Hotel in the Headland Centennial Book. My
secondgreatgrandfather had it built, I was told by family members, as a
wedding gift for his wife Martha Alice Reynolds. This is where mother's
grandfather lived while he was growing up. Also does anyone know if the
Henry County Historical Society has started up again. I had been a member
while Rebel Bill Nordan was living but that was in the late 1980s and early
90s. I know when he died in 1996 it became defunct.
