"The following information was obtained from Sarah Hodges Taylor was written by her brother F.T. Hodges about his father Alexander A. Hodges who was son of Floyd and Rebecca Whiddon Hodges and was a brother to Dempsey Hodges:

Alexander Hodges and Martha Emeline Holland were married 12/23/1894 at Thomas Holland's home by Tom Barnes. They are buried in Tolbert Church Cemetery:

Alexander Hodges b. 3/20/1876; d. 4/21/1950

Martha Emeline Hodges b. 10/10/1876 d. 1/28/1925 (died of leaking heart)

Children:

Hollis b.11/12/1897 d. 12/12/1897 (hives) (Tolbert Cem)

Ina Lois b. 12/21/1899; d. 10/11/1900 (measles) (Tolbert Cem.)
