Laurel, MS :The Rev. David Lee Cutchens, 63, of Laurel, died Friday, June 29, 2001, at his residence from cancer. Funeral services will be held at 3:30 p.m. Saturday, at Lee's Chapel Baptist Church, with burial in Mill Creek Congregational Methodist Church Cemetery. Lendon James and Rayburn Freeman will officiate. A retired automobile mechanic, and a licensed airplane pilot, he was an ordained Baptist Minister and served as pastor of Lee's Chapel Baptist Church. He was a devoted caregiver for his mother-in-law, Myranda Reeves, prior to her death in 1998. He was preceded in death by his mother, Laura Vee Cutchens Hatfield; father, John Lee Cutchens; and one sister, Eleanor Elaine Cutchens. He is survived by his wife, Faye Blackledge Cutchens of Laurel; adopted son, Frankie Lee Wright of Laurel; and!
one brother, Thomas Paul Cutchens of Newville, Alabama.
