Just thought you might be interested in this on Annis Norris.

Henry County Tennessee Marriages;

William Ward to Annis Norris 06 Apr 1824

then Roger Parish to Ann Ward 18 Jan 1860

The 1860 Census shows
Abbeville Beat No. 8
26 August 1860
74/73
Roger Parrish 70 M Farmer 5000/10000 SC
Annis 60 F SC

the census was marked as married within the year and that both were over 20 and could not read or write.

I feel pretty certain that Annis in this census is the same Annis Norris that married William Ward, and wanted to post this in case someone was looking for more information as to what happened to her.
