Steve: FYI; The James W.Pynes mentioned in the above query reply from Mr. Holley, is the son of Benjamin Pynes and Louise "Visa" Evans. Benjamin is a younger brother of James Pynes listed in another post of yours as the first postmaster of Open Pond/Gordon, AL. Benjamin and James Pynes are the sons of Daniel Pynes and Rutha Knotts Pynes.
