I've not found any documentation confirming that Richardson Parish was
related to the Parish families in Dale/Henry County.

Richardson married Catherine Phillips in Jasper County, Georgia. You will
find an H. H. Parish on an early Jasper County census. You will also find
that a Sherwood Parish married in Jasper County a few years before Richardson
and that Sherwood moved on to Chambers County, AL.

If you go to the Jackson County, FL Archives you will find R. Parish listed
on the 1885 census. He remarried in Jackson County, FL. If you look
further at the Archives at the WPA Veterans Graves Records you will find

9 PARISH John N 1848 1912 , -
9 PARISH Richardson 1806 1888 Indian Wars, - USA

9 = Pilgram's Rest Cemetery

The Richardson Parish in Jackson County is not his son; Richardson Jasper,
the son, died in the WBTS. The age listed on the census agrees with the info
on the father.

I believe that Richardson and Catherine moved to the Dale/Henry County area
as members of her family were there. Phillips and Hardy.

If anyone has additional information that may confirm or deny the above,
please let me know. Thank you.

Jeanette
