genald,the goodmans in the home of john r. oates in 1850 are my ggrandparents ,for the life of me i cant understand why they were in his home, i cant find a marriage for john r,and sarah goodman however he did marrysusannah a. peebles 5/5/1850 in henry cty,my ggrandmothers name was also sarah her maiden is unknown, i think she may have been a skinner,but the only marriage i find for my ggrandfather james goodman is to a sarah bradley 12/18/1834 in wilkinson cty ga,any thoughts on this as why they were in his house, idella
