Searching for the lines of Phillip RENFROE. He was b. in 1802 in Ga. made the trek to Henry Co. around 1820-1823 poss. with other family members. His father is a Sampson/Samson who might be with him as well as his mother Elizabeth. Family members who we think are related are Elijah, Zacheriah, Vastie and William.
Along with the Renfroe clan also came a bunch of MATHEWS from the Ga. area. Several of the female members of the MATHEWS clan married the RENFROE clan.
Phillip m. Sarah Sallie 17 July 1823 in Henry Co. Lydia m.Elijah 17 Feb.1824. Zacheriah m. Elizabeth MESSER 9 Oct.1826.Vastie m. Mason HIX 21 Mar.1825.William m. Nancy DEES 24 Sept.1841.
I'm trying to locate anything on these lines of RENFROE that are mentioned above. My line is through Phillip but have nonething on siblings. Trying to also locate where abouts of Sampson/Samson RENFROE who also made the trek through Henry Co.
Trying to locate anything on the parents of Sarah Sallie MATHEWS and Lydia MATHEWS. I know that a great deal of MATHEWS came along and settle in the area just don't have a clue of who they were. This has been a family mystery for 20 years now and it's time to solve it.
