Did your grgrandfather obtain his land from the BLM? The land map lists only the persons who received land from the BLM. I checked the BLM site and couldn't find anything for James Robert Morris. He may have purchased his land from someone else in which case it won't show up on the map.The surname index for the land is not updated so it really is not much use. You would have to know the Township, Range and Section the land is in. The area I was looking for is next to the section Township for Abbeyville. Luck in your search. Shirley
