I am new to this list as of a few minutes ago. I am researching my gg
grandparents, Ezekiel Brown, Jr. and Emily (Green or Greene) Brown, both
born around 1808/1810 in Georgia. They had previously been in Harris Co.,
GA before moving to Henry Co. and I believe they were there for the 1860
census, and Emily is still listed on the 1870 census, as a widow. They had
the following children: ages given are for 1850 - Franklin - 21;
Elizabeth - 12; George - 10; Harrison - 9; Jane - 8; Mary - 6; James - 4;
Nancy - 2; all were born in Georgia, and last but not least was Charles who
was born in 1854. By 1870, only two of those children were still at home -
Nancy and Charles. I do know that Harrison Brown owned land and possibly,
James. I don't know who any of them married. If there's anybody out there
with information on any of these people, I would really love to hear from
you. Thanks in advance.
