Benjamin was not the child of William. He was the child of Caleb
KIRKLAND and Sarah RANSOM. His d.b. was ^ April 1794. See this link
http://www.next1000.com/family/EC/kirkland.caleb.bible.html. THis is the
only surviving page from Caleb and Sarah's Bible. The William below is not
the father of Benjamin, who married Winifred Armstrong. Colonel Kirkland had
an uncle named William he also had a brother named William, who married his
cousin Rutha. Thank you though
